Finding
A contemplative path that weakens ordinary self-ownership needs a custody architecture and a local human interface. Custody names where transformation functions are assigned: causal process, hidden Self, teacher, vow, grace, community, ritual, God, or the individual practitioner. Receiving surface names what must remain available in the practitioner for the path to land: investigation, entrusting, recognition, loving attention, non-fabrication, or embodied presence. The model is not yet entitled to say these are two independent causes. Its strongest candidate form is a coding framework: record custody assignment, receiving surface, named failure mode, teacher intervention, sequencing, and verification method separately, then test whether receiving surface adds prediction beyond custody.

Current Critique
The synthesis may be too flexible. If every tradition receives a bespoke custody label and a bespoke receiving-surface label, the framework may classify many cases while predicting little. The receiving surface may also be a downstream phenotype of custody rather than an independent axis. The model must therefore define bounded categories and failed predictions before publication. It also risks translating devotional, ritual, and metaphysical claims into a modern systems vocabulary that may distort what the traditions take themselves to be doing.
