Steps
- Write the core claim of the version you already have in one sentence.
- Write the core claim of the version you are about to make in one sentence.
- Name the one thing the new version can test, predict, or change that the old one cannot.
- If you cannot name a real difference, do not write the new version.
- Instead choose one concrete action that uses the insight you already hold: send it, apply it, decide with it, or rest.
- Stop after five minutes.
