Steps

  1. Notice that you are about to evaluate, keep, release, or 'use' what just happened.
  2. Ask plainly: am I depleted right now?
  3. Ask: would reviewing this help, or is it just another task I am assigning myself?
  4. If it is another task, say one sentence: this helped, and I do not have to manage it.
  5. Return to an ordinary action without grading the experience.

  • Whether avoidance of a real duty is sneaking in under the word unmanaged.
  • Whether stopping the review brings relief or unease.
