Modern human condition sourcesFor
Who may need it

Not for
When this may not fit

Steps
- Name the event in ordinary words: quiet, blankness, calm, confusion, or no clear memory.
- Write one sentence beginning: My first story about this is...
- Write one sentence beginning: What prepared this was... Include practice, fatigue, stress, instruction, sleep, relationship, or setting if relevant.
- Write one sentence beginning: What can correct this story is... Name a trusted person, text, duty, conduct check, body signal, or clinician if appropriate.
- Choose one return action for today: eat, rest, work, apologize, call someone, stop practice, or complete one ordinary duty.
- Make no final claim about self, no-self, attainment, failure, or worth for twenty-four hours.
Notice
What to watch
- Whether the urge to turn the state into an identity verdict decreases.
- Whether ordinary responsibility and care become easier or harder.
- Whether the practice increases rumination, shame, derealization, dependency, or avoidance.
Caution
When to stop
Stop if this increases fear, unreality, shame, compulsive checking, teacher dependency, or avoidance of ordinary duties. Use qualified clinical or medical support for crises, blackout, trauma symptoms, addiction withdrawal, or unexplained loss of consciousness.
Weakens if
What would count against it
The practice performs no better than ordinary journaling, rest, or conversation, or if it increases rumination, derealization, shame, avoidance, dependency, or isolation.
