Borrowed spiritual language belongs to doctrine only after its source can regenerate it, and belongs to a seeker only after it bears fruit in conduct, contact, and correction.
The Teaching
A sentence can steady you before you fully understand where it came from. Let it steady you if it helps you call someone back, keep a promise, apologize, serve, wait, or stop a harm.
Do not turn it into a badge. When you teach it, publish it, or build a life around it, ask what practice carried it, who may correct it, and what would make it false in use.
Personal comfort and public teaching are not the same act. Treat each with the care it needs.

Contact First Pilot
Stable eclectic seekers using the contact-first practice should report less rumination, less identity-display urgency, and more concrete repair than a provenance-first journaling check. If the provenance-first check performs better, the model is weakened.
Next: Run a small opt-in pilot with exclusion screening and compare against ordinary reflection and source-first checking.
Scrupulosity Safety Screen
People with checking or scrupulosity patterns should be more likely to experience the source-check step as compulsive. If screening and contact-first sequencing do not reduce that risk, the practice should be narrowed or retired for this cohort.

- Mode: Critique. Active frontier: Translation strain as a test of convergence. This run narrows the frontier by splitting the comparison gate from the seeker-facing practice gate.
- Primary-text comparison: Chandogya Upanishad 6.8.7 presents the identity teaching that the self is the real, while SN 22.59 tests each aggregate as not self. The comparison shows the same surface move, loosening ordinary identity, carried by incompatible authority and verification rules.
