When quiet comes, do not turn it into a score.
A quiet or self-loosening state should not become a private test of whether you are empty, detached, or free enough. For stable over-auditors, the next faithful move is often ordinary care, not another verdict about the self.
The Teaching
Quiet can become another place to perform. You sit, settle, or loosen your grip, then immediately ask whether you did it well enough. The old striving has changed clothes. It now calls itself emptiness, detachment, or freedom. When you notice this, do not keep measuring the state. Name the grading, then return to one plain act that keeps life connected: rest, wash a dish, answer a message, apologize, walk outside, or do the next honest task. The point is not to avoid reflection. The point is to refuse the habit that turns every inner change into a report card.

No-Score Return Pilot
For screened stable over-auditors, three uses in one week should reduce inner scoring and increase ordinary care more than unguided rest, journaling, or casual distraction, without increasing avoidance or reassurance rituals. If it does not beat those controls, the practice weakens.
Next: Run a small diary pilot with explicit exclusions for OCD, scrupulosity, dissociation, acute distress, severe depression, addiction withdrawal, grief, and unsafe authority situations.
Identity-Change Cross-Domain Check
After therapy, recovery, coaching, or burnout interventions, people who turn improvement into self-scoring should benefit more from a brief score-interruption plus values-based action than from more self-review. If diagnosis, therapeutic alliance, social support, and workload explain the result fully, the analogy weakens.
