The Teaching
After a strong quiet, a word arrives quickly: witness, emptiness, presence, nobody home, or proof that you have changed. Notice that someone gave you that word before you noticed anything. A teacher, a book, an app, or your own fear handed it over. Hold it loosely. You do not have to decide where the quiet belongs. Return to one ordinary thing and let the meaning wait. If you cannot describe what happened without a borrowed word, treat the word as learned, not as truth.
