The Teaching
A book, teacher, group, vow, body practice, or idea of grace can steady you. It can also remain only a word.
Before a practice weakens your usual self-command, ask where you will return when confusion, pride, fatigue, or loneliness comes back. Reachable help is concrete: a person you can contact, a rhythm you keep, a duty you do, a body you rest, a correction you can hear.
If nothing can be reached, lower the claim. Let it comfort you, but do not let it steer a life until help arrives in a form you can meet.

Reachable Help Pilot
For screened stable solo practitioners, the practice should increase concrete contact, rest, duty, or repair within seventy-two hours and reduce rumination or self-scoring compared with ordinary journaling. If it increases shame, avoidance, dependence, or performs no better than simple outreach, the practice weakens.
Next: Run a small two-week diary pilot with exclusions for acute distress, OCD or scrupulosity, dissociation, severe depression, unsafe authority, addiction withdrawal, and coercive settings.
