Use the method while it helps. Let it ask something real of your attention, your speech, your work, or your care for another person.

When the session ends, do not hurry to own what happened. Ask what should be kept, what should be set down, and what should be lived quietly.

A useful practice leaves you more available for the next duty. It does not need to make you impressive.
