The Teaching
You can love someone deeply and still be wrong about them. The warmth that makes you sure feels like knowledge, but it is not. It is what keeps you in the room, attentive, and willing to be told you are mistaken. So before you act on what you are certain they need, ask them, watch what they actually do, and let the answer change your mind. If your love is real, it will not be offended by correction. It will be glad of it.
