The Teaching
A deep quiet can feel final. Do not let that feeling decide what is true. Ask what gives the answer its right to speak: a trusted text, a teacher, a living practice, a community, a change in conduct, or a model that only sets limits. If nothing carries the answer, keep the quiet as an experience, not a verdict. The quieter the self becomes, the more carefully the answer must be carried back into life.
