If a real duty is waiting, keep it. If no urgent duty is being neglected, the guilt that appears in rest is not a verdict. Name the worth-thought once, then stop arguing with it. Let the hour pass without making it useful, spiritual, impressive, or earned. The training is simple and difficult: work can matter without becoming the judge of you.

Target users should report lighter worth-anxiety after at least one 15-minute unproductive period with no praise, output, or recovery justification. If they report relief only after later output is praised, the practice fails the wound test.

Acceptance Becomes Performance Check
In coaching, therapy, and workplace rest practices, people high in achievement-contingent worth should be more likely to turn acceptance, rest, or surrender exercises into performance checks unless defusion and concrete non-optimized action are included. If this pattern does not vary by contingent-worth level, the analogy is weakened.
