Love is not self-certifying knowledge. For over-givers, it should remain under correction from the beloved's condition, observable conduct, safe support, and simpler care options.
The Teaching
When you are tired and needed, love can feel clear while fear is steering it. Before treating the feeling as truth, ask what ordinary help would say. Have you rested? Have you asked directly when that is safe? Has one honest person heard the whole story? Is there a smaller act of care that would do less harm? A love that refuses these questions may still be intense, but intensity is not trustworthiness.
