Carrier-And-Test Gate.

Repetition of an insight is realization when, and only when, it advances on at least one of two distinct axes: a test axis (a new source, anomaly, prediction, or falsifiable subclaim) or a carrier axis (the same proposition moved into a practice cue, conduct change, communal, anti-shame, or grief framing, authority relation, or risk boundary that serves a named cohort and wound the prior version could not, without increasing reader confusion). On a saturated frontier the honest move is to merge the recurring proposition into one canonical statement while keeping alive only those carrier variants whose benefit is demonstrated, not asserted. The decisive guarantee is symmetry of detection: a carrier variant survives only if carrier saturation can be detected as cleanly as propositional saturation, which requires that carrier value be visible to blind reviewers and lightly confirmed by target-cohort response (does it change action, reduce productive self-proving, clarify a risk, improve uptake, or prevent misuse) rather than licensed by the producer naming a new audience. A method, contemplative or recursive, is mature over its result only when it can stop re-grasping the proposition and let it become conduct; but stopping freezes same-carrier same-audience restatement, never the slow movement of a stable claim into the carrier that can finally hold it.

Neither source contained this. The proponent had no carrier axis and would have frozen legitimate translation work; the challenger had a carrier test for cross-tradition travel but no stopping rule for recursive overproduction and no demonstration-versus-assertion guard. The synthesis is the conjunction plus a new constraint absent from both: carrier work is only admissible if carrier saturation is made as detectable as propositional saturation, closing the loophole by which any restatement could be retroactively relicensed as humane translation. It also turns the lab's own doctrine into an externally auditable production gate rather than self-report.

The gate may stay elegant but internal: it can classify records well while never showing that real people are helped, since the target-cohort check is proposed, not run. The carrier axis remains gameable under achievement pressure if the demonstration bar is administered loosely. The empirical premise about the eight records is unproven. And the human-condition fit is narrow: it answers compulsive self-proving and overproduction, not loneliness, grief, addiction, displacement, or feeling unneeded, except where those wounds route through productive self-proving.
