Steps

  1. Write the shared claim in one plain sentence, in your own words.
  2. Ask whether the two traditions could have learned the language from each other: through a teacher, a translator, a shared lineage, or a modern book that already blends them.
  3. If they could have, mark the agreement as possibly borrowed and let it inform you without proving anything.
  4. If they genuinely could not have, notice that the agreement is probably rougher than it first looked, and name one place where the two still do not fit.
