Steps
- Pause after practice and write one sentence naming the pressure in plain words.
- Ask whether you are trying to own a result, prove a state, or secure a final answer.
- List up to three things that carried you today: body, breath, teacher, text, friend, schedule, community, task, medicine, rest, or ordinary duty.
- Place each item under one plain heading: mine to own, able to correct me, or simple support.
- Choose one return action that fits the list: rest, eat, ask a trusted person, do the next task, send a kind message, or note a question for a teacher or clinician.
- Stop at four minutes. Do not reopen the question to check whether you did the check correctly.

Stop if the practice increases shame, unreality, panic, compulsive checking, isolation, passivity, dependency, or obedience to unsafe authority. Seek appropriate human support when distress is strong, persistent, or impairing.
