After a strong quiet, the mind wants to name the place: no one was there, or a witness was there, or God was there, or nothing rested anywhere. The name can be true and still change nothing.
Do not let the label feel like the help. Ask the plainer question. Did this make you kinder, more honest, more reachable, more willing to do the next ordinary thing? If a friend, a duty, a meal, or an apology would have done the same work, the label was scenery, not medicine.

The Refusal Anomaly Practice Report
Practitioners taught to refuse placement (Bahiya, apophatic) and practitioners taught a located rest (witness, God) will report similar conduct change if location is inert; but if the refusal group reports more humility and reachability with support held constant, the live variable is the refusal, not the location, and the teaching must be revised toward refusal rather than mere demotion.

- Primary-text comparison: Udana 1.10 Bahiya refuses a locatable you in seeing and hearing; Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 3.7.23 gathers seeing into an unseen knower; Tilopa's Ganges Mahamudra says mind has no supporting ground; Pseudo-Dionysius places the divine Cause beyond affirmation and negation.
