A deep question is not automatically a spiritual question. After self-loosening, 'what remains?' should be pursued only when its function, holder, and return to life can be named. If the question has no practice function, no trustworthy holder, and no ordinary act of care afterward, the pressure may not be insight asking for completion. It may be self-measurement wearing spiritual language. The useful doctrine-building move is to test the permission of the question before testing the answer.
Why it may be new
The nearest prior arguments already say that bad questions can create confusion, that context shapes meditation problems, and that supports hold practice. The difference here is the permission rule: a question becomes eligible for spiritual inquiry only when function, holder, and after-use can be named before the answer is pursued.
